UK iPhone

There’s a good roundup of the iPhone 3G press reviews over at TestFreaks.co.uk. Overall the 3G iPhone scored an impressive 8.9 out of 10, nearly a full point higher than the 8.1 scored by the original iPhone. Weak points included the camera, no video, and no Flash in the web browser Safari (although I don’t see this as any loss, I hate Flash).

Not many mentions of the App Store though: I happen to think this is one of iPhone’s strongest features. There are just so many great apps already, and they will only get better and more numerous as time goes on. Like the iTunes Music Store itself, I feel the App Store will set iPhone as far apart from other phones as the iPod is set apart from other MP3 players.
