UK iPhone

Just a quick recap of the main points about iPhone in the UK:

• In all likelihood only one UK network will be able to sell iPhone. If you want it, and you aren’t on that network, you will have to switch. So don’t go renewing any contracts until you know which one it is!
• The smart money seems to be on O2, possibly in partnership with the Carphone Warehouse, but nothing’s been officially confirmed yet.
• You will have to pay for iPhone even if you sign a contract (as with most other smartphones) – no free iPhone! The price will probably be around £300.
• iPhone is selling very well in the US and demand here is likely to be heavy, so stay tuned to find out the best way to get your hands on one as quickly as possible!
